![]() ![]() There was a wide range of responses in HR, SBP, DBP, and heart rate-systolic blood pressure product (MTTI), but with significant differences in mean values between GXT and HG as follows. male office patients, ages 20-79 years, who were not on medication. We monitored heart rate (HR), systolic and diastolic blood pressure (SBP, DBP), electrocardiogram (ECG), as well as symptoms and signs, during both maximal treadmill test (GXT) and one-minute maximal handgrip dynamometry (HG) in the same individuals. The relationship between hemodynamic responses to maximal dynamic and isometric exercise have not been clearly established. It provides an objective information about the patient’s readiness for discharge and a help in future management of the patients. The resting systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and heart rate were significantly increased (p I mm was seen in 5 patients. Conclusions: This low level treadmill testing was safe if it is done under supervised conditions. Between the rest and maximum exercise there was 12% increase in systolic blood pressure, 6 percent increase in diastolic blood pressure and 17 percent increase in heart rate. ![]() Fatigue was the main reason for the early stopping of the test. Blood pressure, heart rate, and ECG during a low level treadmill test studied 6 days after AML They were divided into two groups, group I those who could finish the test and group 2 those who couldn't finish the test. Results: 38 patients (76 percent) completed the test. These results indicate that the TM model can be satisfactorily applied to estimate mean monthly stream flow and potential runoff map in the arid regions of central Iran, too. Objectives: (I) to describe the hemodynamic and electrocardiograph (ECG) responses in patients with acute myocardial infraction (AMI) to a low level treadmill test (2) to assess the safety of low-level treadmill testing after AMI (3) to determine if information gained from the test can be used for discharge planning. Methods: 50 consecutive patients with AMI were subjected for symptoms limited treadmill testing in the CCU of University Teaching Hospital Iraqi medical College, their age range was from 30-70 with mean age of 55 years. ![]() Generally these mean estimated runoff values fall between the 90% confidence intervals for the measured runoff and quality of the model was satisfactory (Qual=2.86). The Pishkouh watershed has a period of moisture surplus from June to August and the remaining months are a period of deficit. This study indicates that there is an annual deficit of 442.7 mm in the study basin and an annual surplus of 26.4 mm. The water balance study using the TM model with the help of remote sensing and Geografhic Information Systems (GIS) is very helpful in finding out the periods of moisture deficit and moisture surplus for an entire basin. The water balance was used for computing seasonal and geographical patterns of water availability to facilitate better management of available water resources. In this study, Thornthwaite & Mather (TM) model were used in the Pishkouh watershed in arid climate of Yazd, Iran. In such a case average monthly discharge could be estimated from regional monthly water balance models of representative watersheds. Some watersheds are not equipped with needed hydrometric equipment. Monthly discharge is one of the most important factors considered in designs and hydrological works. ![]()
